Guests to campus that wish to connect their Mac device to the Wi-Fi can follow the steps below to get connected to the EMU-Guest network.

Step-by-step guide

  1. To connect to the guest Wi-Fi on your Mac device move the mouse to the upper right corner of the screen and click on the wireless icon to bring down a list of wireless networks and select the EMU-Guest network.
  2. Once connected a landing page will open with two options, Students and Employee Access and Open Guest Access.  Select Open Guest Access. 
  3. On the next screen you will be prompted to log in or create an account.  If you need to create an account click on the "create an account" link at the top of the page.  You will then see a form you need to fill out a short form and click "Register".
  4. After registering you will see your username and password displayed on the screen with an expiration date for access.  You will also receive a text message to the phone number you provided with the same information.  If you scroll down you will see place to enter your login credentials and then click on "Sign In".  You will then be connected to Wi-Fi and will see the EMU home page load.  

NOTE: It can take a few moments for your system to show as connected.  Please wait until the EMU-Guest connection shows connected.
